About Us and Our Team

Welcome to Nobridge Nurseries, a family-run business with roots dating back to 1956. Our journey began when we established ourselves in 1961/62, and by 1969, we settled into our current location on the A442 Whitchurch road. Since then, we’ve been a fixture in the community, catering to the needs of plant enthusiasts far and wide.

In 1970, we opened our doors to the public, marking the beginning of our commitment to offering quality plants and flowers. Over the years, we’ve stayed ahead of the curve by importing a diverse array of flowers and plants, always striving to anticipate and meet the latest trends in gardening.

During the nineties, our focus turned to cultivating poinsettias, which we proudly sold directly to the public from our flower stand at the Telford shopping Centre. This venture was overseen by Dave’s dedicated wife, Margaret, who has been an integral part of the business for 46 years, working tirelessly alongside Dave seven days a week.

Our presence extended to Wellington market, where Dave’s sister Judy managed a flower stand from 1956 until the early 2000s. Although we’ve since moved on from Wellington, our business has continued to flourish, thanks to the dedication of Dave, Chris, and Dan, the sons who have joined the family legacy.

Today, Nobridge Nurseries stands as a specialist plant nursery, specializing in the growth and sale of hardy tropical plants and trees. With decades of experience and a passion for horticulture, we take pride in providing our customers with top-quality plants and expert advice.
